An early report this morning. It's one of those days when it's clear how things are going to be right from the get go and some early morning light blue skies all around. Not a cloud to be seen. From here in Maruike anyway. Going to be a very fine day.
It's a cold start too. -10C in this part of Shiga Kogen, and I can see that Kumanoyu are reporting a low of -14.5C as of 7:30am. Inevitably with the sun it will warm up somewhat but hopefully generally keep cold.
Looking at the forecast - snow tomorrow, clearer weather Wednesday and Thursday and then a potentially heavy-snow delivery along with storm-like conditions at the end of the week.
