After that warm day yesterday, it's all somewhat colder this Friday morning. And I'm happy to report that snow started falling this morning and it is coming down now. Not a huge amount and it's not really 'full on' yet - at least here in the Maruike part of Shiga Kogen - but with this snow storm forecast to continue today and tomorrow at least, we could be in for a nice new layer. There's a moderate wind as well but resort lifts seem to be open ok so far.
Visibility generally ok this morning here but I can see it is less so up in the Kumanoyu and Yokoteyama area which is considerably more cloud covered, and the snow seems to be falling at a really pleasing rate up there too.
