yoroshiku onegai shimasu 2
So, who's going to get their traditional "Kentucky Christmas" in this year? (Sorry for the silly poll, I just had to laugh when I heard the ad and then the people on breakfast tv talking about this very point! )

Yuki's Passion 1
I remember laughing for about 30 minutes straight when i saw that add the first year I got here - but then found out that FBC sells turkeys and didnt have to worry. My best Xmas in Japan was at one of the Okayama Int Villas (ushimado) we baked a HUGE turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, broccoli casserole, etc... Now I just have sushi, nabe, atsukan, etc... DrMabuse 0
Let's Kentucky. It's the tradition, coming from some overseas company, er, country. ( ) Where they do this every Christmas. And eat sponge cake.
muikabochi 208
The local Kentucky here is doing big business in the rush for Christmas. The busiest day is the 24th, not the 25th as well - says a lot.
2pints-mate 0
Was it here I read last year that basically Christmas is over as soon as the 25th arrives? Trees, decorations, etc etc all down?
scouser 4
Thats right. I've even seen trees coming down late on the 24th Dec - all over.
proudtobegay 0
Where I live there's no nearby Kentucky. But there is a Mos Burger. Mos are trying to make it a Mos Christmas for us, with their "Chicken Sando".
DrEvil 0
Pizza La Christmas near me.
its-a-clock 0
Seriously, does anyone have a turkey here for Christmas?
rach 1
I've never seen one, but then again not really looked. If I'm around I'll do my own version with roast chicken replacing the bigger bird. I do a good Christmas dinner, me.
metroid256 0
I had a turkey last year. It wasn't too good actually (and very expensive) I'll be back on the chicken this time round.
7-11 2
Christmas cakes are a really good bargain on 25th Dec.
echineko 1
Please try asking some Japanese people around you. Please ask "When is Christmas" and some I think will say it is DEcember 24.
A lawyer 0
I just did that. 5 said Dec 24 3 said Dec 25. Most seemed unsure.
