r45 4
slow that was on the tv last night. They were moaning how they had to change the signs and the commentary yesterday from "Worlds Fastest" to "Fastest in Japan". They seemed quite upset.
Ocean11 0
r45, I got it it in the neck last night for muttering into my dinner "Yeah yeah, we've got the ****ing point already. So it's NO LONGER the fastest goddamn lift in the world, who cares? Isn't there anything else worth reporting in the world?" I see that BBC page supinely reports that after 9/11, everybody's concerned about planes flying into these big buildings. As if. It also mentioned that the Empire State survived a hit from a B29 or something - without collapsing. Odd that - I thought tall buildings always collapse like a ripped bag of cement when planes fly into them.
frannyo 2
When did that happen at the EmpireState?
