We are happy to now be able to add five new Guides and open a new section of the site called Town Guides. The new Guides are for Furano, Yuzawa & Naeba, Minakami, Nozawa Onsen and Shiga Kogen. (You may recognise those as being the places covered by our daily reporting...) Just a few points about this new section and these guides. As mentioned on the main page (below), the list of towns covered is by no means definitive. These areas are amongst the most popular ski towns in Japan. Snow Japan also provides daily reporting from these regions and we also have a lot of content on the site covering the towns. We thought that it would be a good idea and be very useful for people using the site to have all of that information together in one place. It will also allow us to focus in on towns and provide more details on the popular town regions. In the future we hope to maybe add more towns/regions to this section. We are also aware that some sections of the Guides are currently lacking information. (Yes, there are places to eat in Hakuba and there is more choice than just curry in Niseko. ) We are going to be working on bringing more information to those sections of the Guides and hope that over time they will grow. So this is very much an ongoing and developing part of the site.
