TheOrange 0
Well, time for another poll and another topic. I'm interested to know where people spend most of their time on the snow.
Yuki's Passion 1
You should vote first
mattlucas 0
And bring on the Trolls Will be interesting though
Fattwins 0
But this ducking ropes type of poll has been done to death before. Same results it will be about half and half i think.
TheOrange 0
I don't remember the same thing being asked, but anyway if you don't want to comment you don't have to! It's not just about ducking ropes, it includes stuff like Toque's adventures. I did vote by the way.
big-will 7
I'm a good boy.
sava 0
I duck ropes only to get to the groomed areas.
jared 0
There is no excuse for going off the trails at a ski resort. Those are the rules so you should follow them. Besides, its dangerous out there, you could get yourself killed. (Am I convincing?)
Fattwins 0
hey capt when are you hiiting the low road home?
tsondaboy 0
At the resorts sokudo eating kare rice picking up girls and posing.
sakebomb 0
Personally I like to sit in the middle of the run just over a crest so I can't be seen well!! I like to do this sporting the latest gear and wearing a cow bell!!
mattlucas 0
Well I learned one thing this morning. While we are all very funny people the trolls do need to be here to make this topic really go anywhere.
Karnidge 2
Toque seem to have mentioned "trolls" more than a few times in the last week or so. Your "my boom" right now is it? But please tell me - what do you actually mean by that?
mattlucas 0
Captain Stag had a really good definition of Trolls on a different thread. Not sure where it is.
Karnidge 2
Can't tell us yourself?
mattlucas 0
Well I guess on a topic like this you would get somebody coming in and saying that people who duck ropes are trouble makers and should be arrested for breaking the law. Then you get somebody who defends ducking ropes cause it isn't really doing any harm But that other person the rule follower won't budge at all and keeps calling the rope duckers criminals and it goes back and forth Trolls Trol like fisherman for prey in controversial topics like this
HighlyTrainedNovaTeacher 2
But I think a troll is surely someone who only exclusively tries to "cause trouble" whenever they appear and do nothing else apart from that. Otherwise it is surely a (possibly heated) disagreement.
mattlucas 0
Yes that is true But it seems that certain people only ever show up on certain threads and it ends up in threats from manegment of somebody getting banned from the site
SnowJapan.Com#3 0
Come on, how many times has that happened?! You can probably count it on one hand.
oo 1
Yeah probably should be more....

I have a fairly quiet day at work today so I may try again later. Fattwins - I am out of here on the 30th - no time to waste - finish work on Friday night and get on the overnight bus to the airport and gone on Saturday morning and skiing a few days later. definately time for a change. SnowJapan.Com#3 0
Yes some people think that oo. If we have an issue with someone or something that someone has posted, we will usually email them first and try and get it sorted that way (rather than post things on the forum so everyone sees it). Yuki's Passion 1
I think those who have the skills and ability to ski outside the resort should be allowed to. If a rescue has to be done, the person responsible should pay. There are certain areas which are roped off for a reason, others are not. Those are the places where the rider needs to decided whether he/she is ready to accept responsibility for his/her actions. I, for one, love nothing better than getting off trail and trying like hell to keep up with FT and Toque. Geeze those guys are like lighting!!
Fattwins 0
I tend to like to go to places that let you do what you want. I hate having to worry about patrol sayin "plese dont ski there for no reason". Thus I tend to go to places that just dont care.
