Thundercat 60
I concur. Research has shown that short skirts are good for the economy!
pie-eater 207
I'm sure if it's a good thing then Abenomics will be behind it. I really think Abenomics should be mentioned and given more credit for all good things than it is right now. Even for the increase in the price of mayonnaise. Which somehow is probably a good thing. Hurray for Abenomics.
@tokyo 14
Who first came up with this word anyway?
Curt 1
Got to think that lots of the so-called apparent increase in spending this year is people buying before the consumption tax rises next spring. Makes sense to buy big things now than wait. Cue new thud come May 2014?
muikabochi 208
Ah it's the weekend! Thanks Abenomics!
norcal 5
You're playing a dangerous game, Japan....using fast food to lure in customers to boost the economy? Have you not seen my country lately...? lol http://blogs.wsj.com...mics-indicator/ Thought this article was fitting for this topic due to the 'abenomics' catch phrase. .....also, I've had the first two burgers. Amazing.
Tubby Beaver 209
McDonald's burgers....amazing......I think not
pie-eater 207
Ah it's the weekend! Thanks Abenomics! I too thank Abenomics for a great weekend. Well, so far. Although I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that the second part will be just as Abetastic!
Tubby Beaver 209
it truly has been a fand-ABE-dozy weekend up till now.....
xxx 2
Well, I have a cold this weekend.
pie-eater 207
Well, you jolly well can't blame Abe and/or his nomics for that, xxx! However, you'll have to credit them for you getting better, though.
muikabochi 208
Abenomics is so cool that today - Monday! - is a holiday!
pie-eater 207
I almost forgot that today is a national holiday. Sasuga Abenomics!
Tubby Beaver 209
Now that Abenomics is such a success and governments all around the world are watching with jealousy, I wonder if this brand new economic system will be taught at universities?!
Alexander L 80
And now for the constitution..... of the United States perhaps.
muikabochi 208
Surely Abenomics is impossible without Abe! It would just be nomics them, which is for surely much less interesting.
pie-eater 207
Absolutely. You can't have Abenomics without Abe at the helm. The idea's just silly.
Thundercat 60
I was doing some extensive economic research at the beach this weekend and judging by the tiny bikinis I saw it would appear that Abenomics has caused a raise in the price of material used to make them. Yeah for Abenomics!
pie-eater 207
Fant-abe-tastic!
nagpants 1
It's like, there's nothing that Abenomics can't do!
pie-eater 207
The only thing Abenomics can't do is something rubbish. Though having said that, I suppose if 'it' jolly well tried, it could if it wanted.
brit-gob 9
For sure. So if this election is a big success, can we expect a weaker or stronger yen. Totally does not compute,
Metabo Oyaji 71
So if this election is a big success, can we expect a weaker or stronger yen. Yes, thanks to Abenomics, we can definitely expect a weaker or stronger yen.
