Tsugaike Kogen

That it is. Named after (and co-developed by the owners of) Hunter Mountain ski area in New York, USA.   Over to you, Muikabochi.

The only ski area in Kochi prefecture ('lonely'), located right on the border with Ehime prefecture ('on the edge') -- on Shikoku, where pilgrims decked in white with conical hats and walking sticks are known to make the 88-Temples Pilgrimage. Also located in the famous Shikoku Karst (look it up!).
