pie-eater 207
A good start anyway I feel.

onsen tamago 0
Funny thread. Sure looks like a hot place to be next season.
Wizz 11
Any more news on the Mt Granview front?
muikabochi 208
Nothing official but every evening when I go out on my bike I can see a few lights on up there. Working round the clock perhaps?
Mick Rich 78
Fireflies maybe?
snowbender 3
That t-shirt rocks!
TheOriginalMyoko 0
Just read through this for the first time. Funny. Never heard of the place but it sure sounds like an up and coming major destination. If only it were in our valley.
Wizz 11
You'll just have to drive to get there. You might look on your home Myoko differently though once you 'taste Mr Granview'.
muikabochi 208
Beautiful morning here with lovely blue skies and some white fluffy clouds. Was in Yuzawa and on the way back found a nice temple near Maiko. With a good view of our favourite mega-resort Mt Granview in the background. Going back out this afternoon to do some shashin benkyo. pie-eater 207
Can't see the diggers from that distance unfortunately. Looks like a fine day for pics.
muikabochi 208
Could here them in the distance, pie-eater.
muikabochi 208
There's a new "michi-no-eki" type of place being built and looking like it will open up soon on Route 17 pretty much around the Mt Granview section. (True). Obviously they want to make the most of the increased Mt Granview traffic that is expected.
Error404 0
Big plans indeed! Whats the deal with michi-no-eki? How do you get that status?
sanjo 2
Kind of surprised at the lack of a Michi no eki in the Yuzawa region until now. Where abouts it is?
muikabochi 208
It's on the same land as that museum and the "Dog Run". Between Ishiuchi and Shiozawa, literally in front of the Mt Granview "mountain".
pie-eater 207
Is that the museum with world dolls and.... knobs in it?
sanjo 2
Ah yes, I know where you mean.
muikabochi 208
Yes that's the one.
muikabochi 208
The new Michi no Eki opened yesterday. Someone I know went and brought back some fresh vegetables as a present.
iiyamadude 6
Sounds like a good place to have one on that bit of Route 17.
sanjo 2
Yes it does. There isn't much like that in that area of Niigata. Being close to Mt Granview will surely just be a big bonus.
Wizz 11
Must be. A clever and cunning move.
