So, we launched these new Forums in mid September and now we have the new Route Finder.

 

Just a few more things for the coming weeks:

 

Daily resort snow depth data:

Updates to the snow depth data for resorts will begin early-mid December. More on that nearer the time.

 

Now! daily reports:

Our Now! reports are now becoming more regular as the season approaches and will become daily once we are into the season proper in the respective regions.

 

Updates to Travel Section:

We plan to introduce lots of Route Finder links and samples and also make some changes to the Travel Section on the main site.

 

But..... we're pretty exhausted right now, so we need to take a bit of a collective break before we get to work on all of that.

We kept quiet about that one, but there are no more major surprises to come - hopefully that is enough major new stuff for one year!

 

'Stage 3' is already being worked on and should be online around October 2012.

In the meantime we have a winter season to enjoy.

Been lurking until now really but just really wanted to say thanks for the site and the humungous work you guys so obviously put into it.

Today we have made a number of changes to the main Search on the Forums - including making the default period go back further and allowing search of as little as three letters.

 

Some other fine-tunings that will hopefully generally improve the search experience.

I have noticed a real improvement on that, does great now.

We have changed the settings so that that when you visit the Forums from a small-screened mobile device (or most of the major ones), the Forums will by default now show the our Dark theme that is suited to mobiles.

This is because it seems a fair few people were not aware that we do now offer mobile-specific themes.

If you find that you have been taken to the mobile theme but wish to go back to the main full version you can do so by clicking on the Change Theme link at the bottom of the screen.
