Hi folks on this wonderful forum, I was hoping to get some ideas of places to stay in or around Naeba. We are traveling around a number of resorts in Nagano and Niigata and will be in the Gala area from the 8th Feb. I was hoping to get a recommendation of a well placed room that is close to the best skiing. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi guys, my family and I are spending 4 days in Osaka after an 8 day skiing trip to Hakuba. We will have a JR pass, so were planning on doing a day trip to Hiroshima. Are there any "must see" things to do or see other than the obvious memorial?? I know we will spend a fair bit of the day traveling but would like to get the most out of it. Any ideas appreciated. If anyone also has a "must see" list for Osaka that would also be great. Coutta

Skier, for almost 40 years now!!! Tried boarding once about 25 years ago Back when you still used ski boots with lock in bindings, boards that were impossible to control on the Australian ice, and most resorts over here still banned snowboarding. How things have changed!!
