SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan#Andrew 6 Posted December 5, 2011 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted December 5, 2011 OK I asked in Ninjin-tei on Friday night. Looks like they don't take any kind of reservations... not even for groups. It's turn up and see if you can get in unfortunately - and on peak weekends it gets very busy. Not sure why seems a little strange. They also own a bar a bit further down the road called Swing Bar. That place has nomihodai - 3000 yen for 2 hours, 3500 yen for 3 hours, 4000 yen for 4 hours. The place has a pool table, big screen etc.
RobBright 35
Book it, and we will come! Of course you can't book it that is. But we will come!
NoFakie 45
Sorry to interrupt the party talk, but I'm on the own-brand mixed ales box from Costco at the moment. It works out at 160 odd yen a bottle for gaikoku-type beer. For a cheap change from Japanese beer, it's pretty good!
brit-gob 9
I have had some bad experiences with cheapo beers, I tend to avoid. Not skimping on the beer!
Thundercat 60
Anyone tried this new-old Asahi? Shogou Asahi Fuukokuban (初号アサヒ復刻版)... very interesting package. Think I'm going to try it at the weekend when I have my drinking shoes back on.
RobBright 35
Had one Saturday night BM. Seemed a bit "flat" to me.

Thundercat 60
New old? Whats the deal there then? It's a re-release of a classic Asahi. Picture I posted didn't stay but if you search the kanji I posted you'll find images of the beer.
