Yes TB, we all know he's from the north side of the great wall of Scotland.

spook 0
i feel sorry for any british sportsman (or woman.. sportsperson..?). they invariably have the expectant weight of the entire nation on their shoulders. like poor old 'tiger' tim henman, or wobblehead paula radcliffe good luck to the bloke though
Go Native 70
I assume this is about tennis? Shows how much I know what's going on in the world these days...I've never even heard of the guy!

spook 0
that bloke is incredible. although his tears last year when he lost weren't too good.
RobBright 35
Typical Scot - a choker on the big stage.
Mantas 3
The poor guy couldn't buy a winner in that last set. 16 Grand slams for Federer. It's getting boring now, like the Williams sisters.
grungy-gonads 54
At least with the Williams sisters you can spend your time trying to guess which is which. And be scared by their thighs. Must not look at the captions on the telly that spoils it.

SantaCruz 0
Wandered into an Irish pub in Niseko and the match was on. Never seen so many people cheering for a tennis match. It was sardines in there.

panhead_pete 27
Why do the English claim to be "British" when they are relying on someone from another country, ie Scotland, to win something they cant?

If people knew that UK/Britain does not equal England then I wouldn't have too. I have no problem being a part of Britain
thursday 1
Do you have a prob being a part of the United Kingdom or in fact the Commonwealth?
Tubby Beaver 209
No.
Mantas 3
So let me see if I got this right. If I were a football player from Scotland at an international event it would go something like this. If I competed at the Commonwealth Games, I'd represent Scotland. If I competed at the Olympics, I'd represent Great Britain. To travel to either venue, I'd use my United Kingdom passport.
thursday 1
the world cup would be Scotland too. Only they don't go to the finals tournament.
