A Japanese friend may well want to take a look at the Cavern Club so I suspect that will be on the bill and I know Flannigans Apple in Mathew Street is good so I'm sure that is too. Tubby Beaver 209 Posted August 1, 2009 Share Posted August 1, 2009 ok guys, just got back after my Highland adventure, up to Ullapool camped overnight, down to Plockton and over to Skye and camped overnight in what can only be described as mega Rainstorm, across to Mallaig where we had the use of my Aunt's 2nd home for 2 nights, all in all I averaged 5 pints per night so thats an extra 20 for the week onto my total which takes me to : Pies:2 Beer:49 Off down to Newcastle tomorrow for my mates birthday with 19 other mates, its gonna get messy!!!! pie-eater 207 Posted August 4, 2009 Author Share Posted August 4, 2009 Loads of beer yesterday. Went to Tatton Park for a live concert with Heaven 17, Go West, Belinda Carlisle, ABC and Human League. All of them actually pretty good, even Go West! And I can't believe I'm saying this but Belinda Carlisle was really good too. For ABC and Human League I was down right at the front being supplied with beer by friends "visiting". Human League were just ace, on for the best part of an hour. The crowd were really up for it. Unofficial count for sat......... 6 on the train 4 before going to hotel at 3pm 15 during the actual night out (a conservative guess) so beers for sat= 25 sunday 3 with "breakfast" in the pub before getting on the train 2 on the train 2 before going to bed sunday total= 7 weekend total 32 grand total pies=3 beers=84 wow!!
