Yesterday, got to look at some of the specs, pics, expected prices and reviews(of some skis) for the 03/04 twin tips.

Here`s what I found...

The big news is that LINE has come out with another pro model to go along side the Skogen Sprang, Mike Nick models. Its` the Eric Pollard pro the specs are 118/86/111 and its` a 186cm ski. Looking at these specs it`s very similiar to the Dynastar LBF.

LINE has also produced two new models the 7.5 and the 7.5x (I think)

The LINE Motherships summary was that is an all-mountain ski with the specs 127/97/117 that is one FAT ski.

The new 1080s specs will stay the same with only a cosmetic redo. That being a change in colour, to the same blue as the Pocket Rockets.

The Volkl V Pro will also keep its` specs the same and a change in look is the only difference with this ski.The colour of the ski is yellow with a silhouette of shapely chick. The summary of this ski is that is both solid in the POW and in the park.

The Pocket Rocket and LBF will stay as is.

The Seth Pistol got good reviews and despite its` fatness apparently it is a good allround ski.In addition, the ski was rated quite soft by the reviewers.(A change for K2?!)Though because its` this skis debut it will be reasonably expensive.

The K2 Public Enemy was reviewed and was hailed a solid all-mountain setup.

That is all,any questions etc pls. Will try and find out more maybe get some pics.

One of the great things about boarding in Australia is that you get to see and try and even buy all the new gear before anyone in the northern hemisphere! It's just a pity that the manufacturers don't update their sites for the start of our season!

What is with that? It bugs me so much that Snowboard manufacturers can't freaking update their sites.

Option's site still has a message form the end of the 01-02 season at the top. The funniest thing is when you go into it there is some horrible quote about how the site is an ever changing something or other. They missed the N in never changing.

Binding holes are kind of a good thing in that you can move the binding all over without compromising the ski however it seems the downside would be you most likely have to buy line bindings which I am sure are a great binding but the prices all add up.

Do more binding holes compromose the ski strength if they are reinforced like in snowboards?

Fatty - there is a large ski shop near a snowboard shop that i frequent. Next time i'm in the area i'll stop in and see what i can find. I know next to nothing about skiing, as i haven't skied for some years now. But i shall see what i can find for you.

The pamphlets is all im after. Its nice to get them in english. This year I am making my trip back home in July instead of the fall. Sisters wedding.

I dont like the idea of too many holes in my skis. Ihave seen friends snap skis with plugged binding holes. The line binding had a bad year for breakage.

Fatty i went to one of Sydney's larger ski stores today to see if they had any catalogues or the like for the new stuff. They didn't have any unfortunatley. Only last years ones.

One of the clerks there said i should check out the website. A lot of thethumbnails on the site don't seem to work but they do have some 2004 on the site.

Larry Adler

Hope it helps you a bit.

Thanks not much there in terms of pow skis. I guess Auz isnt a big powder place.

Went by the little ski shop today. They had next years new products. I didnt like the look of the new Rossi twins. They looked pinkish. An the new Bandits are so white they glow. K2 line and dynastar have the right idea giving the skis stylie graphics.

I want 1080's to match my PR's.

I want SethPistols just to have them.

I need money.

Anyone want to invest in me? How about donating money to me? I have a small cosmetic cutt on my butt that is preventing me from excelling in the world and I need these skis to escape from this woe. DONATE NOW!

Mogski is sad because his snow season effort was poor due to world economics being very poor.

Mogski is in hiding from the porn as it makes mogski hurt. It's hurts so much I am afraid I would lose control and do something I might regret.

Mogski wants to go skiing....

Help me.
