BagOfCrisps 24
Good choices I'd think. What's wrong with this picture: Manchester City top spending charts as Premier League clubs pay £70m to agents The hidden cost of buying and retaining players has been revealed for the first time after the Premier League disclosed that its clubs spent more than £70 million on fees to agents in the past year. thursday 1
Quote: Ireland have appealed to be allowed to compete as a 33rd team in next year's World Cup finals, Fifa president Sepp Blatter said. Although the inclusion of an unprecedented extra team would cause serious logistical problems including extra unscheduled matches, Blatter said the Fifa executive committee would consider Ireland's request at their extraordinary meeting on Wednesday. Ireland were eliminated from the competition earlier this month by France after Thierry Henry, pictured, handled the ball in the build-up to William Gallas' equalizer that gave his side a 1-1 draw and a 2-1 aggregate play-off win. The draw for the World Cup will take place in Cape Town on Friday. Reuters I just say Ireland go, France stay home. Cheatin basterds.

grungy-gonads 54
Those meetings always make me laugh. What exactly is the point of people sitting around listening to someone reading out what is printed on the sheets word for work.

Tubby Beaver 209
how can Ireland go to the World Cup?? They were drawing 1-1 (on agg) at the time of the handball, a draw doesn't get them to the world cup. They would need a replay but FIFA have already said NO. Ireland should quit whingeing, its done, over, rightly or wrongly.
stemik 14
i hope france win the world cup
Tubby Beaver 209
that would be funny!! Unlikely though, cos European teams can only win on their own soil......somebody has to break that, can't see it being France but weirder things have happened!!
grungy-gonads 54
that would be funny apart from the fact that living with France winning would also not be good. I just thought, perhaps if France did actually win, then Ireland would be able to claim the Cup!
thursday 1
Seriously, I think ManU will win the World Cup. Or Brazil.
