Thundercat 60
At Akakura Kanko there is a resto called Etoru. The Etoru ramen is amazing. Basically, its a massive bowl of ramen with mabo-dofu on top. I eat it everytime I'm there.
hellyer 216
Mabo-dofu? is that tofu & meat or Tofu & something else?
Go Native 70
I enjoy a katsu-curry myself.
I'm Sexy 0
Looks good! I usually have big breakfast (maybe I should not but cannot resist) and so only snack for lunchtime. always lunchtime is quite on mountain also as many people do lunch
Tubby Beaver 209
Katsu Curry is my lunchtime staple, with a 2 beer maximum, don't wanna be too out of control after lunch!! the pizza at Naeba is good, as are the burgers at Alts Bandai, for absolute value for money, the Lunch buffet at the small curry shack at Tashiro is excellent!! Myoko Guy 0
Nothing beats a big steaming bowl of chyashu-ramen. Warms me up, fills me up and provides plenty of carbs to burn off in the afternoon. I'm gonna check out that ramen at Etoru BM. If it's the place I'm thinking it is I've never thought about the mabo-dofu there.
gerard 6
Make-your-own pizza at Cortina was pretty good.
cram400 0
would have to say a hearty katsu curry.. when i'm not in the curry mood, a warm bowl of miso ramen.
SKI 15
Fried potatoes always go down well as long as they aren't the non-potato/McD's kind. Thick cut with skins please. Such healthy light food for a day on the slopes.
Tubby Beaver 209
I always find the ramen to be crap at ski-jo's, shitty super-noodle like noodles and packet broth
kintaro 0
At the resort it's almost always curry rice. Zoa (Eboshi) has a zao cheese curry with nuts and raisins. Might sound strange but it always gets me through the 2nd half of the day. "America Dogs" are disgusting - avoid!!
