muikabochi 208
The other day I spent a few hours at Joetsu Kokusai in Minamiuonuna, Niigata. This resort is one of my real locals as it's less than 10 minutes in the car to the quiet Atema Kogen area of the resort. The weather was cloudy when I was there and rather dull for the most part with a few times when bits of blue skies showed through. Anyway, I took the camera and took some pics. (In this first photo, thats Kandatsu resort in the background)

muikabochi 208
Thanks. JK's a bit difficult actually, a bit flat like Hakuba (but better of course). I'm eyeing Zao up, going to jump on the chance when the snow/weather/work conditions all come into focus.
BagOfCrisps 24
Pretty pics as always. See, you don't NEED to have it sunny!
ILoveZao 8
Nice photograph. My friend was working there last year and I went for 3 days. I preferred the Hakkaisan and Maiko (?) gelende nearby for skiing.

Jynxx 4
I like Joetsu Kokusai. I don't know what's international about this place but WOW muika's photos look way better than how I remember it.
2pints-mate 0
I really like the way you compose your photos. There's a certain muikabochi style there. I suppose there often is with most people. I like it.
Hokkaidough 4
Always great photos muikabochi, cheers.
SKI 15
They've done some rebranding this season, seemingly pushing the "Jo-koku" 上国 nickname that people have called them by. Some nice new graphics to. Whether they have actually done anything to the resort, I do not know!
muikabochi 208
I can't say I noticed any difference SKI, other than the graphics on the posters and billboards. That's not to say there are none of course.
JellyBelly 1
Seems like such a cheat and deception when rebranding is done with no real improvements to the service/product.
