rach 1
3-5 to United. A bit cross about their goals, but a fun game to watch for more than half the time.
big-will 7
Sir Alex Ferguson 'wouldn’t sell Real Madrid a virus’ let alone Cristiano Ronaldo

pie-eater 207
Entertaining match especially the goal rush part. Rooney was looking ever so serious, even when he scored.

Quote: Group winners: Barcelona Bayern Munich Juventus Liverpool Manchester United Panathinaikos Porto Roma Runners-up: Arsenal Atletico Madrid Chelsea Inter Milan Lyon Real Madrid Sporting Lisbon Villarreal I have a feeling Liverpool will get Inter Milan or A.Madrid. scouser 4
Atletico Madrid would perhaps be my choice
bobby12 0
my choice is anyone except inter. i think we would easily handle any of the others, including real who have been pants for years.

Tubby Beaver 209
What a crap game, Quito were very poor and Man United didn't need to get out of 2nd gear even when they went down to 10 men

Tubby Beaver 209
yeah I know, Ronaldo was even able to go on a few mazy's, pity Quito shat it and didn't try and push the numerical advantage, would've made a better game. Good goal from Rooney though

big-will 7
I thought it was quite an entertaining match, if not one-sided (the one in Japan). I wonder who Man Chty will panic buy this time to shore up. Thats gotta be funny.
pie-eater 207
It will be interesting to see how the trip has affected the players. Rooney said that most players had not slept more than 2 hours a night since they were in Japan, so they'll be fairly tired even if they fly 1st class whatever. Stoke game on Thursday will be telling.
