I managed to get over to Kamui yesterday but it sure was a dangerous drive as you couldn't even see the neon road markers. Today is worse and even the hardened locals are "grrr-ing" about it. Rain and wind yesterday...blowing a gale today and left with the choice of sitting in the hotel or hanging around my 85 yr old MIL's house. I know it seems impossible but she complains more and is grumpier than me even... The only good thing is there is no one in the hotel so I can run the hallways and stairs to get some exercise..
