2pints-mate 0
Will be at the big game today. United should enjoy their lead while they can. I think they will burn out.
rach 1
That was an incredible goal by Essien. Shame he had to go and spoil that Arsenal lead though
bobby12 0
Theo Walcott wins sports personality of the year The guy has played about 10mins of professional football in his life.
big-will 7
What a joke?! Is he much of a "personality" even?
bobby12 0
Never heard him speak or play. Looks like a gimp on his day off.
scouser 4
That is a total joke. WTF? Essiens goal was excellent, will probably make the top 10 of the season. Shame Chelsea got the draw..
bobby12 0
Sorry I forgot to type that it was 'young' sports personality of the year. Still doesn't mean he deserves any prize.
rach 1
Don't think I would recognise him. Whos he actually playing for now?
big-will 7
Thought he sat on benches rach
scouser 4
According to BBC here is an "Arsenal star". Still don't think I have seen him play though.
bobby12 0
I saw him come on for 5 mins against someone lowly like Charlton, looked like a kid from school. Hes no Michael Owen I tells ya!
BagOfCrisps 24
I've probably seen him more than you guys, but can't say I'm impressed. And that award is a joke, surely. Anyway Arsenal up to 3rd now after beating the pie-eaters. It's almost surprising to be there after all the lacklustre performances this season.
pie-eater 207
Yes so I see. You had to fight for it though.
scouser 4
Chelsea really haven't got it together this season like they had the last two have they. They just don't look as total as they did before, lots of 1-0 scape wins. Man Utd are looking the better, whether they can keep up the pace though is the big q.
bobby12 0
Too many stars at chelsea now. not keen on Ballack and Shevchenko (can you believe I am saying that?). Good players but a team is more than just the sum of its individuals. Thats what they have lost now they are full of stars. People leaving acrimoniously cant have helped morale either. Anyway, Im looking forward to man utd winning it this year and the look on mourinhos face. The media war of words will be something to see too as the race gets down to the wire. scouser 4
Slighly unnerving isn't it? bobby12 and I (both ardent Liverpool supporters) actually wanting Man Utd to win the title. You wouldn't want to say that out too loud in the pubs in Anfield.
bobby12 0
hey we can still win it - miracles can happen! and we've been on fire lately.
rach 1
Lets supprting United!

Porto v CHELSEA CELTIC v AC Milan PSV Eindhoven v ARSENAL Lille v MANCHESTER UNITED Roma v Lyon Barcelona v LIVERPOOL Real Madrid v Bayern Munich Inter Milan v Valencia Concentrate on the game in hand though.. BagOfCrisps 24
Interesting draw some "finals" in there.
rach 1
I don't really know if Lilles is good or bad, but there's some good games lined up there. I see all the 2nd games will be home for the England teams.
scouser 4
Good piece about Anfield and Everton wanting a move to Kirby here http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/sport/2006/12/16/where_should_everton_move_that.html I sure can't see Everton moving into Anfield happening! Good score in the end there last night. 2 more games to watch tonight.
bobby12 0
Wow interesting results last night. I was gutted at chelseas comeback. I still think this new ball is a joke, the way it swerves in the air. Lampard and Drogba would never have scored those with the balls from 5 years ago. These days you can just shoot from 30 years and if its on target it has a great chance of beating the keeper. I still think Liverpool are in it. If chelsea hadnt comeback last night the difference would have been only 9 points between us.
scouser 4
Me too but there were some cracking goals in that game. Chelsea have this habit of sneaking those 3 points in the bag though. As the commentators say so often "the true sign of champions" ( )
