    I love onsen all year but winter is best of course. Outdoor onsen as well. I like having private one with great view. Unfortunately, it's always expensive option!

    I have a very lucky friend who lives just down the road from there and has a "season" pass! Actually he really enjoys it. If you live close-by I suppose..

    I spent 4 nights in Nozawa and then had 3 weekends over in Myoko, Sugadaira and Minakami.

    Wow I missed these photos! It's so great to see so much snow around. I hope it keeps going late this time round. My holidays are in March and that is when I can get most time off.

    I went to Zao in late February. Already the snow monster were smaller than normal they look good but it was slightly disappointing. I like the skijo and onsen very much.

    I like it! When I stay traditional ryokan, I look forward very much usually I do not eat like those things.
