Last one I saw was a Rage Against the Machine cover band playing in Hiroshima. Surprisingly they pulled it off quite well. The same gig also had an ACDC cover band with a chick guitarist dressed up as Angus in the little boy school uniform! They weren't too bad either. Little else to see down these parts...

Sounds like typical bullshit you sometimes come up against in this country to me. Gamera, they are total nazis and sell the past exams as study material rather than put anything on a free website. A quick search on google would probably turn up some mock tests that might give you an idea.

I went for a week at the end of March a few years back and got nothing but fresh powder every morning. A mate went the following week and got some really warm days and slightly slushy conditions. Luck of the draw if you are pushing April, but March should be OK I reckon.
