can you use the "snowflake" patern that you have on the "NEW TOPIC" "NEW POLL" "REPLY" buttons. Different color for each section looks nice. -

Try to speak Japanese and...
tsondaboy replied to muikabochi's topic in General off-topic discussions
I don’t really find it annoying any more. The truth is I sat down and made some thinking one day. I speak to them in Japanese because I wana practice my Japanese, so samewise if someone speaks to me in English is most probably because he thinks that is a good opportunity for him to practice his English. Aeon, Nova e.t.c are charging these people way too much money for their crappy quality of lessons they give. I think that someone that takes these lessons want at least to check if he is actually learning or not as I wana check if I can express my self in Japanese. What is more important to me -

The green is killing my eyes man!!! Its way tooooo bright. Would you like to try the combination of colors that you have on your logo? Something like Red thin frames and dark blue main frame with the pink you have now for the thin lines for fonts. -

Why gests cant reply in the forums, have you considered the option of permiting some limited posting for guests?. In the other hand though, if you anable posting for guests you might see a trend like, people login out from their usuall acount and posting as guests. -

The quick reply option is really nice idea, but to be honest I don’t think I like the black frame that much. I think it is not a nice combination with the navy blue color of your logo and avatar. Do you have the option to pick a pattern instead of a single color for the frame? I think the next big step would be to make it look a bit of 3D, something like the frames that win XP have. -
It was a really hard day for me today. I haven`t slept for 2 nights in the row because I was preparing a presentation for my Masters thesis. I had a complete assh-all guy that was not even e professor asking me stupid questions. I was tired and bad tempered when I finally arrived home. And then, suddenly my luck changed... Thanks a lot guys, you really know how to make ones day!!!!!

What did you do over New Year?
tsondaboy replied to Roger's head's topic in General off-topic discussions
Christmas was really nice; I spend 3 nights in a Ryokan in Izu with my girlfriend. Onsen, food, sex and staff... New Years Eve was a disaster; I was planning to go to a temple but the snowstorm in Tokyo snow-bounded me in my room. New years like Toque I was in Happo riding powder. -
Tokyo to Kagura by Car
tsondaboy replied to coolboarderguy's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
This is a site I find very useful because I also travel a lot with my car. You can calculate the tolls you need from one IC to another and also gives you alternative roots. Unfortunately is only in Japanese. As far as for the Kanetsu expressway I also prefer to drive to Tokorozawa IC and get on there. It is usually really packed from Nerima-Tokorozawa. Also when I get on the highway before 6 in the morning is not that bad. http://search.jhnet.go.jp/route/hinavi.html -
I asked a Japanese friend about the doors. It is considered to be good manners towards the client. In limousines, the client never opens the door. The driver must get out and open/close the door for the client to come in/out. Same wise in taxis is considered rude for the client to open the door by himself. Since the driver cannot stop in the middle of the traffic to get out and open the door and besides that many people get on the cab in one day, they made the doors automatic to make a compromise. So that the driver can still open the door, without having to move from his seat all the time and

It depends on the brand. Japanese beer doesn`t have much difference than any super-market. Imported beer is cheaper but not significantly, around 100 yen for 6 pack. They have very good offers from time to time and if you are lucky you can buy the 24 pack for half price. I usually buy bottled water there because their price is really cheap. For the 1 1/5 liter bottle that you find it 200 yen at the combini you pay there 126.

Smurfs are still going on satellite. Don`t quite remember the channel but run up to them last year. And if we talk about 80s anime don`t forget "Robotech".
