We did maypole dancing and morris dancing at my primary school which was only 15-20 years ago. But then again we did also get hit with a basting stick. I think our school tried to model itself on Enid Blyton books. -

The quadrable is ridiculous. We haven`t even won anything yet. I reckon we`ll win the premiership. Probably win the coca-cola. 50/50 on the FA cup and make the last 4 of the Champions but don`t think we`re too likely to win it. A double maybe a triple if we`re lucky. Just winning the premiership would be awesome. The last time was 50 years ago and this time would mark our centinary. You`ve got to love that symmetry. Anyone see Rooney`s goals yesterday? Supposed to be stunners. -

Unlucky Rach, at least Fergie got some nice wine out of it. So Chelsea vs. Liverpool in the final. Should be fun if Liverpool have any strikers left by then... How many are you trying to get through in a single season scouser? Then again just seen this http://football.guardian.co.uk/rumourmill/index/0,1451,1399809,00.html Bellamy!!! Should liven things up -

Is there any standard legal procedure that you can take if a company does this to you in Japan? For example is there the equivalent of a Citizens Advice Bureau like in England? -
I love a lot of the canned coffes when they`re cold but it`s definitely much harder to find ones that are good hot. There are ok ones out there but it involves a lot of painful experimentation.

Can I use credit cards to buy train tickets?
connackers replied to maxwoodworth's topic in General off-topic discussions
In my city the JR ticketing centre is one of the few places that can take foreign credit cards. But wouldn`t rely on being able to use credit card for anything. -

I always think about doing a proper warm up but it never seems to happen. I usually only wake up half way through my first run. -

Do you think that Wenger really started on him? " In a stream of insults [Ferguson] described Wenger as "a disgrace" and alleged that the Arsenal manager had "his hands raised" during the so-called Battle of the Buffet at Old Trafford in October. Wenger is supposed to have advanced towards Ferguson, shouting: "What do you want to do about it?" " That whole Battle of the Buffet thing belongs in a comedy sketch show. If only it was recorded on video in some way. Were his hands raised in a Queensbury boxing style? Or maybe an `i`m going to throttle you` gesture? Or maybe i -

All I know is the airport is at least an hour from the city and that the traffic there can be very very bad so allow yourself plenty of travelling time between the two. -

No way! Morientes is going to get a hat-trick 3-1, which coincidentally will be the same scoreline by which Chelsea will beat you in the 2nd leg. Did you see the first leg? Supposed to have been a good game. Particularly enjoyed Mourinho keeping the tradition of at least one manager trying to cause trouble. He`s a funny man. But Fergie not biting? Must be getting tired in his old age. -

Looks absolutely devestating. I have friends who were travelling to Koi Phangan next to Koi Samui. Just hope they stayed that side of the Thai peninsula. I posted a link to these people a month or so ago. Apologies to anyone who bought anything through them as a result. I wasn`t aware of any of this. My mate got fed up of waiting and cancelled his order. He then went out and managed to find similar stuff for as cheap or cheaper in sales. It sounds like anyone else who is waiting for orders would be well advised to do the same.
