Hi, just found this great thread. Will leave for Niseko tomorrow and will be there for a bit more than a week. Will be with a group of people that are not equipped for backcountry skiing, but will bring my skins/shovel/trcvr etc. and would love to go bc skiing for a day. So I guess toyru would be the place to go to find out about bc skiing ... Do they also rent skins/tranceiver/shovel ? That would be a good option for some of the people I'm traveling with. Hi, flying to Japan from Brisbane soon. Unfortunately we have to have a stopover in Korea for a night before we get to the snow. We'll arrive at Incheon airport late afternoon/early evening and have to be back the next morning. Has anybody had a stop-over there on their way to Japan and can you recommend somewhere to stay ? Is it worth trying to get to Seoul or does it make more sense to stay close to the airport ? Cheers, Volker
