  1. Cartoon crows are definitely well cool. Cartoon pigeons tend to be a bit crap.
  2. taught in China for 7 months before university and LOVED it. Great country and fantastic people. List rang pretty true for me (apart from am not American).
  3. Used to think crows were pretty cool until last spring. They came to my local kindergartens and ate all the swallow chicks out of their nests Going to teach the kids how to use spears and bows and arrows to defend them next year

You want to keep a close eye on your neighbours. You never know what they might be up to... Okayama you say
  5. I`d guess because one of the big problems of renting stuff here is a) it`s difficult to get stuff to fit, especially on the smaller mountains, unless you`re built like a japanese person. Particular problems are shoe size and weight - determines length of board/skis it`s not great quality (like in most countries), if you haven`t done much before it may be ok, i guess it depends what you`re used to. If it`s not going to be just a one off and you have the money then buy. Even if it`s just 2nd hand or last seasons - you can get some really good deals here if you look. It`s so mu
  6. That would be SO class He/It clearly doesn`t take full advantage of that device!
  7. sounds like liverpool had a good one scouser! how`s Benitez looking so far?
  8. If you also need a good kanji - english dictionary, the `The Kodansha Kanji Learner`s Dictionary` is fantastic.
  9. Quality! - Was wondering about those, seen them on the mountain, they look mental! I thought they were just one of the new types of skis - are they really different to use then?

Surely a world class team should not even be contemplating playing like they do..... Chelsea - Ya new boss is gobby for sure, but give it a few weeks and the Gunners will be running away with it. Oops, already started [/QB] I don`t think we do that bad. People have a habit of remembering the crap games more than the good ones. The Croatia game for example. In any case on the last two tournaments we`ve done better th

How big is it?
  13. I did, but didn`t want to scroll through the twenty-eight + pages with a pen and paper to tally a result So thought it might be good to have an actual poll as well
  14. Skied a couple of times when i was young. Went snowboarding for the first time 8 years ago on an alpine board. Then went again the winter before last on a normal set-up and am now totally addicted.
  15. The new boss - class! Mourinho`s going to be a legend. He`ll outtalk Fergie and Wenger and eventually steal their crowns, but not this season. I reckon we`ll be second behind Arsenal but it`ll be VERY close, FA-Cup winners and Champions League finalists. But that`s pretty optimistic this early on. I`ve supported Chelsea a few years now, back to the time Hoddle was proving his worth. Not that long really - not a die-hard blue and never had the chance to see a game but definitely not just a supportski! As for England`s draw, maybe we weren`t great but f@ck it, we don`t have to play gre
  16. Okayama Prefecture (between Hiroshima and Hyogo). I`m near Okayama city so it`s quite easy to get on the busses.
  17. Remember them usually not being too bad - though it`s all guesswork really. But if they predict an amazing season at should be at least mediocre or if there`s no snow predicted until January might rethink plans to go to Hokkaido in December. Anyway, would be nice to hear someone else talking about snow, and not just the voice in my head!
  18. Cheers, had a look at the snova site and there`s one in kobe and one in Hiroshima - though they`re both a bit of a trek away - anyone know if they worth making the journey to?
  19. Can`t wait till winter! Does anyone know of any good ones in Okayama Prefecture?
  20. Bulgaria, Switzerland, Japan and New Zealand. (France and Austria aswell, but they don`t count as i was skiing )
  21. Sure am! Up at 4am to get to my nearest hill in Tottori, a bit of a mission!
