  3. hopefully beautiful blue sky, a litlle breeze and a nice warm day!!
  4. What I don't get about agents is the fact that both them and the player expect the clubs to pay for the agent!!! The agent is employed by the player so surely he should pay the **** agent as opposed to the clubs! the mind boggles
  5. This isn't peculiar to Japan, most Local Governments do the same thing when they have excess money to burn at the end of the fiscal year. If they don't spend it then their budget gets cut for the following year. Stupid I know but it happens in every country. Thats why in the UK you would see huge sections of motorway with roadwork signs and cones but no work going on. They charge for the setting up of the cones etc and the taking them down. Isn't the reason that the wires are overhead because of possible damage to underground wires during earthquakes? I think thats the official line anywa
  6. I hate BA, don't fly with tem if I can help it. You should be ok I've had a backpack on as hand luggage when I left Japan last time. Also I had about 6 plastic bags full of clothes because my suitcase was too heavy, it was a MAJOR headache!!
  7. yeah. I hate the rain, I'm not from England though, I'm scottish. Weather is even worse than in england. When I'm off I'd much rather it was hot and sunny than cold and rainy, so Japan is much better for me
  8. wow this is a long thread, since 2001, impressive!! I'm in Fujisawa, just south of Yokohama
  9. just a joke, but I'd rather be here than back home in the UK. UK summer is shit, we just don't get the weather, I much prefer it here
  10. Yeah, it was the same here. It was meant to be battering us right now, but there is no wind, no rain and the sun is burning through the clouds.....c'mon sun!!!

  14. I didn't like Stupid White Men, it was so boring and way too one sided. Although I do like his movies, even although you know that they too are skewed in his direction, just that it gives the other side of the coin to the Government peddled crap, so you can make a guess at the reality by stepping in the middle of both arguements
  15. pickled onion monster munch make your eyes and mouth water when you open the bag, that first waft of pungent odour to hit your nostrils and thats it, saliva fest!!! (not from your eyes tho! ) I had this great Almond Pastry from the bakers yesterday, it went brilliant with a cup of coffee

Not as gruesome as it sounds, honest! yeah I read that too, its ok, I thought it was pretty slow moving though. Right now I'm reading a pulp fiction novel by Joseph Kanon, Los Alamos. But have my eye on the book, American Shogun
