  2. Cabinet making, shopfitting and wood machining. Its a good business with varied work and we are in the fortunate position of having more work than we need so we can pick and choose the jobs/clients we want.

  4. I have a small manufacturing company. At the moment I am working everyday. Probably 70 hours a week. But I do see hope for the future. Maybe a couple of months in Hakuba next season if all comes together.
  5. I am thinking the same and currently putting the wheels in motion. Although I'm not the type to just throw it in. I tend to plan my moves and take action. If everything works out I should be doing what I want in 6 months. Although I currently work in my own company so it makes things a bit more difficult to give a weeks notice. I say as long as your financial, leave and start afresh.
  6. SnowBenny if you get in touch with Mitch Large at Snowbeds ( www.snowbedsjapan.com )he is getting involved in the real estate side of things over there now. He may be able to help you out with your enquiries.

You will be well catered for in Hakuba with this criteria. As with anywhere backcountry, be prepared and don't drop into anywhere where you don't know where it comes out. Canada or Japan, such tough choices in life
  14. Just waiting for our season to start here in Australia. Nothing compared to Japan but enough to have a bit of fun. We had a dusting up on the mountains over the weekend but the season only kicks into gear around July. 2 weeks in Hakuba in January and already planning for next year.
  15. I just saw an article on an international sports show on cable about a japanese snowball fight competition with teams. Does anyone know where this is held. Might be time to get a SJ team together. They take it pretty serious and have some contraption to make the snow balls and wear full face helmets.
