Last night I was watching some Japanese tv (lucky me hey) and they had a section where some people were pretending to be singing songs. Backstreet Boys, Queen (very funny). It reminded me of one with some Korean guys doing the Backstreet Boys one a while back. I remember someone posted it on here. Anyone know where that link is? It was much funnier than the Japanese guys doing it last night.

There's one place up on the way to Kagura in Yuzawa that has a lift there from what seems like ages ago. There's still a sign to the resort as well on the road, can't remember what it was called. They don't seem in much of a rush to take the lift down.

Is this all going to be in the same Gifu/Nagano area? (Suncups?)

Really liked Brick, "art house trash" maybe but an interesting watch all the same. Watching some Twin Peaks as well at the moment, thats bringing back some memories.

When I went to Bangkok I really enjoyed just walking round places and taking it all in. Fascinating place. Preferred outside Bangkok, but if you are there and have done all the major tourist spots, pick an area and just walk.

Not too much actually. Splitting costs of travel and other ways of saving worked a treat. Having said that like others I'm not counting the pennies closely.

I'm taking the Monday and Tuesday off to give me an extended holiday. Can't wait. 3 days of rest, then 5 days on a trip around Gifu.

I quite happily played it up when I first came here, much less so now. Living in a city area though I suppose it is much easier to tone it down when you want to than out in the countryside.
