  1. By the way.. Quote: Wayne Rooney has been included in Sven-Goran Eriksson's World Cup squad, BBC Sport understands. Rooney appears to have won the race to prove his fitness after breaking a metatarsal in his right foot while playing for Manchester United in April. He flew back to Germany to re-join the England squad landing at Karlsruhe near Baden-Baden just after about 2200 BST.
  2. Often the case here when they are using up budgets. Not sure why Japan sees it apparently necessary to make useless buildings and be obsessed with concrete tho
  3. Me too, happily the insects in England are usually not too big!
  4. Will do it soon. Happy days, the World Cup starting.
  5. Actually yes..... not sure how Manc Oasis are any more (and they are City supporters as well, enough said!) Oasis now are quite different from what they were at the beginning when they were decent. They are just spoilt gits now who do controversial things to get publicity. How it seems anyway. Do thing Noel has talent, just got lazy
  6. Chelsea have also just got Mikel and paying United 12 mill (reported).
  7. From what I have seen of Japan they seem to be a fairly resiliant if not exciting team and capable of pulling off results.
  8. Another new jogger here. Get a couple of miles in every other day.
  9. They often come across like that (and very probably are like that). It's a Manchester thing. Someone like me possibly 'gets them' more than someone else. Their first 2 are good albums, but wouldn't make my top 10.
  10. P(n) = λne-λ over n! is the formula for World Cup success http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,,1784799,00.html
  11. I thought legless meant something else when I first read that! (ie. totally drunk). Good stuff though.
  12. Even trashier is The Sunday Sport. That at least doesn't take itself as seriously as the NOTW. NOTW is basically the Sunday version of The Sun.
  13. Lehman reminds me in some ways of Bartez. Erratic, sometimes brilliant, sometimes mad, unpredictable. Good game.
  14. The return of Heskey Quote: Emile Heskey is in line for a shock England recall and will be named as Wayne Rooney's replacement. Please no!
  15. Well, we played shite last night without Rooney. I think Ruud is off this summer. Fergie is getting tougher in his words "We will do our best to get the boy to Germany but it will be us who will be doing the consulting," warned Ferguson when asked whether he would discuss the situation with Eriksson before deciding on a course of action. We will do our best to get the boy to Germany but if he is not fit, he is not going to go."
  16. "During the interview Steve Manning became convinced that Nintendo had deliberately picked a bad name for the console and that it was, in fact, fake. Manning thinks that Nintendo is creating an enormous viral campaign by releasing a fake name and then coming back during E3 and announcing the real one."
  17. I got one earlier where the subject line was simply: "You farted?"
  18. Someone in the football word being greedy? Surely no! I'm surprised they didn't try to keep this quieter until there was some decision. I think he'd be a big improvement on Sven.
  19. There was a woman at Crufts this year much better than her. Multiple dogs too.
  20. The Cure are (generally) really good, some class albums. I listen to the music, not bother about the charisma of the singer (though I think Robert Smith does the job just fine) Robbie Williams has lots of charisma and confidence, and look how shite he is.
