  1. If I do one run at 11:55pm and then another run at 12:05am at one of those resorts that are open late night, does that count as 2 days?
  2. Barak Obama: "the best is yet to come" Wot, holding back until now have we?
  3. If one time was not bad enough he did it a second time, according to reports. A man has fled his home in Pote Village, Mashonaland Central Province in Zimbabwe, after allegedly impregnating his mother a second time, according to the British news media. The mother also fled the village. Simon Matsvara and his mother Ethel Vhangare decided to leave the village after church members learned of the alleged pregnancy. Just four years ago, the two were reportedly fined by the village elders when Vhangare suffered a miscarriage after getting pregnant from her son.
  4. I wish there were more myself. Nature gives us good shapes but I always liked playing in the pipe.
  5. I am so glad I don't live near one of those places or indeed too many tempting not-good-for-me eating.takeouts. I don't think I could handle the temptation.
  6. Interesting looking place. Bit far for me, I think I'll be able to hold out for December,
  7. Dial M For Murder Apparently, Hitchcock thought it was his most 'by the numbers' movie. Enjoyed it, seeing it for the first time over the weekend.

  10. I love that thick crinkly pizza flavor ones. No additives, I'm sure. What's with the bags though? Huge bag, open it up and there's 20 crisps in there!

  12. Some people look at it. And tell other people about it too. I agree with Go Native on the Aussie thing. We're somewhat spoilt though. Get what you can.
  13. Beef would be my last choice. At least the beef they serve doesn't come from cows, so they are saved. The last time I had veggie it was actually pretty decent. A nice pasta. It's the safest bet.
  14. But here's the news from today: TOKYO -- Japan's environment and nuclear minister visited the tsunami-crippled Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant Saturday to inspect a spent fuel pool at the center of safety concerns. The visit by Goshi Hosono comes amid renewed concerns about the conditions of Unit 4 after its operator reported partial bulging of the building wall, prompting nuclear regulators to order fresh investigation and seismic tests on the building and its pool. The pool that sits at the top of the plant's No. 4 reactor, which suffered an explosion and fire early in the
  15. By Robert X. Cringely This is my sixth column about the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident that started last year in Japan following the tsunami. But unlike those previous columns (1,2,3,4,5), this one looks forward to the next Japanese nuclear accident, which will probably take place at the same location. That accident, involving nuclear fuel rods, is virtually inevitable, most likely preventable, and the fact that it won’t be prevented comes down solely to Japanese government and Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) incompetence and stupidity. Japanese citizens will probably die unn
