  1. Go with you gut feeling on that one I think. It's sad but it pays to be careful.
  2. I just don't think she is guilty. I mean did you see the size of the bag of buds they pulled out of the board bag? Nobody in their right mind would think you could bring that in. That and the fact that as Captain stag said, the buds would have a better market, and sell for a better price in Sydney than in Bali. I am suprised that there is a market for imported skunk in Bali Indosmn, although I am sure you know what you are talking about. Bit like selling ice to eskimos yeah? Also there is growing evidence that something suss has been going on with baggage handlers in Australian domestic airpor

  5. Powwers, An ever-changing crew have rented that house year-round for the past 10 years or so. It used to be called the "American House" but about 5 years ago the aussies started to outnumber the americans and that had to change.. The tradition continues this summer. Error, as long as I can keep my stormtrooper helmet on!
  6. During Typhoon season when the swells are huge head down to Izu, look at at at detailed map of the coastline, ask around and you will find a point that has some all time big waves. Holds big swell and is an almost perfect set-up. It is about an hour's drive from Shimoda/Ohama beach. Seek and you will find. We had friends that rented a house right on ohama beach, as you cross the over-the-top suspension bridge as you head to the smaller beach. It was such a party place that the local taxi company erected a sign in front saying if you need a taxi, just ring up and say gaijin-house No.3 and
  7. Good comments Miteyak and Goemon, the churches and bars correlation is a good example of the perils of mis-reading correlation. I think it may be far too simplistic to draw such firm conculsions without looking at additional factors. Sadly I have seen this type of study used to shape scientific policy many times while I was in Japan. I cannot believe some of the policy "gems" the LDP come up with. This is scary stuff.
  8. I use both regularly (yes, home user vs home user Ocean) and if all the programs/games I need ran on a Mac then that is all I would use. The design and look of the OSX is fantastic and it just seems simpler and easier to do the things I want to do quickly on a Mac. And there is the virus issue as well. I use a PC out of necessity, a Mac because I want to. Ocean, you complain about people being uninformed while calling other people uninformed, yet in the same post you state "The Mac people on here, clearly haven't given Windows an honest look..." while being similarly uninformed about Mac
  9. Ahhh Prince Phillip. What a huge prick he is! Feel sorry for Prince Big Ears with a dad like that.
  10. Some great lines there. Why isn't there the same sort of inquiry going on into Haliburton's Dealings?

  13. Just came across this little beauty of a flash animation from the sage folk at 42 below vodka I found this quite mirthsome (requires flash player). Check out the other two movies as well Britain
  14. Yeah saw that Black eyed peas clip the other day on Rage. Got a good chuckle out of it. Resembles the clip for Hey Ya! a bit.
  15. I think so maoriboy! I got 10. Damn Rancor.
  16. New flick getting some positive reviews. Some people are probably glad to see the end of it
  17. The new PS3 looks the biz and the specs sound awesome. I want one and that's all there is to it.
  18. Cheeseman, it could be available in Jusco if there is one near you. Here is a link to the dairy website. Check out some of the recipes as well. Oiishi! King Island yumminess
  19. Hardcore geek warning with that video. More wank than an Apple promo. The console looks good.
  20. Hey Miteyak, Moving to Tassie, good move. I spent most of my life there and it is a great place. Where will you be moving to, Hobart? For any advice just PM me. Just a word of advice about moving, if you get your stuff shipped to Melbourne you can save a huge amount of money getting your car fully packed with gear over to Tassie. Because Melbourne to Devonport is now part of the national highway scheme, when you travel on the Spirit of Tasmania ferry you can get your car over for A$50 or thereabouts. If you load the car up you can get a heap of stuff over at the same time. Otherwise
