Did you get the photo-book of the jishin, sanjo? I think the Niigata Nippo newspaper company published it. That made a good thing to show people back home. Some pretty amazing pictures in that.

They just said on the news that the weight of the snow is increasing and is 605kg/sq m here in Niigata. (Not sure where abouts). Tokamachi it is a 19 year record @ 1018kg/sq m

Rain sucks don't you think? Really screws up the snow. It's been really warm here in Niigata the last week, warm down in the snow regions too by all accounts. I couldn't be bothered this weekend because of the rain. Let's how we get more snow and soon.
