  1. im half canadian, half australian. my parents live in tokyo and i go to boarding (not snowboarding unfortunately) school in singapore (just finishing up my final year)
  2. players usually form a wall on a free kick thats about 25-30yards (or in any dangerous position) from the goal. the wall has to be atleast 10 yards away from the ball... my school team played the singapore national team yesterday and scored on a free kick getting it past the wall.
  3. i get to hakuba on the 16th and leave on the 19th. too bad though... im probably too young anyways!

  5. singapore which was once considered pretty safe is getting bomb threats at a few of the expat visited places. (if you know singapore boat quay, and mohammed sultan rd) its pretty bad because i go to an international school which is considered a target. the american school here has numerous armed gurkas (dont know how to spell it, but the nepalese soldiers) everythign is pretty tense here (singapore) at the moment.
  6. since my mom moved to japan shes starting to bake again [singapore was too humid to bake most things] which is pleasant when i return from eating boarding house food for a year.

  10. i go to boarding [not snowboarding unfortunately] school. and we only have 1 english channel on the tv. so i dont have time, or a desire to watch tv. i watch about half an hour a week, and thats on a good week. at home however, i watch a sickly amount. even if im not strictly watching it, i have the football or mtv on in the background.
  11. the lift passes i got were a piece of paper and then u got a little plastic holder to put them in thats meant to go around your arm
  12. did they ship internationally? or was it within canada? im thinking of getting bindings... but im not sure.

  17. im in the market for a new pair of boarding pants. how much would i be expected to pay in japan for a decent pair of boarding pants? has anyone tryed rip curl/quiksilver outerwear? they have a shop here [singapore] that sells boarding pants/jackets made by these brands and i was wondering what the deal was.

  21. 8mm was very disturbing, but very well done. it got a PG rating here. which disgusted me a bit. if u havnt seen memento yet, i highly suggest it. its the sort of movie u can watch over and over and keep finding new bits.
