  1. Side note - we used to call the wall to the left of the Super Course, on the left riding up Center 4, Ni Kabe...so many name changes who can keep up. I always thought that was like a green MB...course I dunno colors so prolly the last person to ask. There is that one section that has two quasi rollovers which have a decent pitch to em. But not not even 15 meters worth.
  2. No worries, is that what you're doing your dissertation on? You're finishing up your masters eh?
  3. Great threads you got going BM - sweet pics!

  7. Id love to try all of those pie eater...look delish! Drank Kirin's 秋味 last night for the first time this year - quite pleased. Very nice flavor with a little kick to it at 6%. Of all Japan's mass produced, non micro variety, I think its my favorite. I wonder if Ginga Kogen (from Yamagata??) would be considered a mass produced? Quite enjoy their white

There isnt much around the way between Hakodate and Sapporo - quite beautiful Inaka.

Itd be nicer if the buses from Shin Chitose to Niseko werent 2.5 plus hours. Quite a long smoke break at that automatic piano million dollar bathroom too. Think they couldn

The entire notion of somebody having to learn their native language first is so off the mark its not even funny. Our brains are naturally wired to learn languages. There are tons of examples out there to support it: twins being separated at birth and in diffe

Why do they insist on using English words but in Japanese usage? If you cant use it right in the first place, then dont bother using it at all. I mea
  16. Ive noticed that Japanese really do avoid sitting next to gaijin on trains. People will squeeze in somewhere else, or walk to the far end of the car, but not next to me or others. Japanese dont watch where they go - I was out with a friend and had 6 different people walk right into me because they werent looking where they were going. My friend kept laughing but I just find it irritating Noise pollution in this country has been getting to me this summer. You have to head out into the inaka to actually get some peace and quiet. 17. Id get something between 90-100. Those arent that fat and I can carve on skis that are 105 and shred on them all over the mountain. At first it will feel different because you have to get that much more over on the ski edge, but its nothing that a few runs wont take care of. A 95ish waist like the Mantra (96), Chronic (92), if you want something thinner Prophet (90), would all be really nice.

  19. I would love to see off sides abolished in soccer. I think it needs to be a higher scoring game and it would have more action/suspense, too. Agreed with Nagoids comment about anybody faking an injury trying to get a call should get a (yellow/red) card for sure. baseball: It should be abolished 100% as well. Its as interesting as getting a root canal. American Football: First off it needs a name change. To what, who cares, but football just doesnt suit it. Next, in between plays the time should be decreased. I hate waiting for the next play, and that is one aspect that
