Going back to one of Andrew's comments, I think it's also inevitable that when something becomes bigger and more successful, it also becomes a bigger target and the success will simply annoy some people. Can't be helped, but it's also a sign of success. Doing a great job, keep it up. And get out skiing too!

Looks like download versions will be generally 1000 yen or so cheaper than the retail ones. But then you'll need more of the memory cards that cost 99,999 yen per GB to store them on!

I saw the Apes movie and though it was entertaining and fun, nothing amazing though. I thought at the end there it would just be a pull back from the tree tops but glad there was a bit after that.

I agree there, a bit far for my liking and would prefer to bus in to Echoland in an evening than have to take all my gear with me to and from there.

NHK saying more than 70 people have died from the heat so far this year. I wonder how many of them is a result of 'trying too hard' with the electricity.
