Pretty much the same story as others have. If you go to the bigger chain stores, they will be less friendly, less willing to lavish time and care on your equipment, and charge you more. Get in with a friendly local shop.

It can make for exciting stuff with everyone wanting to avoid penalties. I have just turned it on now and it seems that penalties may well be on the cards here....

Nice to meet you all. I like skiing and recently snowboarding. Must admit I am surprised that there are so many people here now the season has finished. But looking forward to my first winter season in Japan. Is it as good as it sounds? The Skull
