This may not always be the case but....makers get paid to add software to a new PC. Often it's trial period kind of stuff, so the software dudes hope to get a paid up from the end user etc. I have never bought a Dell from anyone other than direct from Dell, but they have not been loaded we junk at all.

Some amazing looking games coming up though. Annoying that we have to wait. Anyone follow that fiasco with Drive Club where Sony were trying to say you could download the full version for $10 off, but you needed to be subscibed to Plus. Let that expire, and you're $50 game becomes unplayalbe. Happily they saw sense and reversed that.
