I watch quite a lot of movies. Why? Hard to explain - they're fun, escapism, don't need a whole lot of time invested like some series do etc.

I'm not sure where the best ones are in Tokyo. Actually the best ones I've been to have been out of Tokyo in the new multiplex theaters.

The nearest you'll get I think is to the north in Niigata (Yuzawa - try Kagura resort), or maybe Marunuma to the east of Numata in Gunma. You might want to try Tanigawa Tenjindaira as well in Minakami (Gunma). Hope that helps.
