Hey I like my (good) music loud!

I want to know..... at what stage do these resorts take down their lifts? And is one of the reasons they just call it "resting" to avoid the expense of cleaning it all up?

Have you heard it gg? I have only heard the DM (please stop now, enough of the buzzing distorted electronics and crappy weak drum sounds, you are spoiling the memory), Garbage (quite good) and NIN (not very good). Not really keen on U2 so no surprise really just don't like the songs that much.

Today is it? Not going but it will surely be on the local news this evening. Didn't Elvis go last year?

I don't know yet actually. I might be going back to the us early in the year so a lot will depend on that. But I do hope to have at least a week out as well as some long weekends. Probably in the Nagano area.

Still sounds remarkably fresh which is more than you can say for lots of electronic pop from the early 80's. A real classic.

I liked the melodic quirky side of REM. Those few albums before and after OOT were great. Some of the songs on the later albums too I really liked - Up, Reveal were very overlooked and have some great songs on them. Not keen on their "rock" side though.

A friend of mine has a boxset of The Sopranos and I have started watching that, never seen any of it before. Liking it.

I am going to book 5 days in Shiga Kogen in November when I finalise my vacation plans with work. Other than that, nearer the time.

The scenes they are showing on NHK now look eerily like March tsunami footage. How awful for people affected.

Wow I never knew Kraftwerk started out like that! I am listening to some Massive Attack at the moment. Love the sounds just wish they'd give it more melody/better vocals.

Had my first Cinnabon in a long time in London. Love those things!

I thought that too, didn't speak much but he seemed like someone you would really enjoy having some laughs with. Came across as really genuine.

Such terrible news and it was when I was there too. But life in central London pretty much seemed to be "as normal". I enjoyed myself and this didn't change that.

My favorite singer, Dave Gahan, used to be addicted to heroin and nearly (actually!) died because of it. As much as I love the music he makes, I think he was an utter fool and certainy don't respect him for it. He's clean now happily. Amy seems like she has always been a mess. And I don't like her music, can't see any 'genius' there at all.

I think its out next week on Cd gg, only heard the 2 tracks on their site but think I'm like it.
