  1. for me was strange how the americn judge gave points on the freestzle jump final. there where this guy (i guess from poland) who won at last. his first jump was rated bz everz judge arround 6.6 exept the american judge, he gave him about 6.0 then the next one was an american athlet. the whole bunch of judges gave him about 6.0 the american gave him 6.4 points. ok, it`s allways hard to judge someone and it`s not about huge differences but at least i looked like the american judge wanted to "help" his team a little.
  2. in europe isn't it out neither. but there is a console as tester in a multimediastore. i don't know the games name but it's fantastic (besides the unusual controler for a cool boarders4 pro). you can ride on the whole mountain there are no banners who limit the course (like in cb4) if you ride on a slope, you will see the little lines from the groming machine and the track where the board was! those are just some features in that game. the bad thing about all is the price of the xbox! i think it's about 70'000 yen!
  3. have you ever played the snowboardgame on x box??? thats really cool!!!!
  4. RIDING OFF PIST AND BACKCOUNTRY IS VERRY VERRY DANGEROUS AND IT SUCKS EXTREMELY!!! NEVER GO OFF PISTE!! JUST DON'T DO IT!!!
  5. almost every brand builts longboards! my favorite is the "TANKER" from "RADICAL AIRLINES" they built now tankers with a length of 2 meters! might be a little too long for tree runs. check out www.rad-air.com
  6. i think it's absolutely ok to wearing your country's colors, having they're national flag painted on their faces, singing along with their country's national anthem. thats olympical spirit! BUT, i and the rest of the world is NOT intrested in your president's and your countries PROPAGANDA and problems! the opening ceremony is NOT the place to say the world "look how poor we are" and its not the place to legitimate war or your countries politics. i can't remember to see any other huge flag, than the one with the 5 rings, brougt in to the stadium during the opening ceremonys the past
  7. ehm, i'm not shure, but, aren't superpipes less steep but higher than usual pipes?? just wrote last year something like this.
  8. i'm also sick about bush's war propaganda! i had to change the tv program for a while when they brought the damaged us flag in.

  12. there is also powpow at the main street. the food isn't as good as in adventure club but the place is better for having a drink or two...
  13. switzerland is terrible! we had a super freezing but dry beginning of january but after 3 weeks was it finish. today we had about 20 (!!!!!) degrees celsius in the lower parts of our country. so all snow who's last in the ski areas is mainly from december or is machine made. how about japan???? does it have some pauda?? (i could get a verry cheap plain ticket...)
  14. as much as i know is on the entrance to every fun park written that you use the obstacles on your owne risk. just keep in head that you should land allways on the steep part of the landing (otherwise you would damage your back) so don't try jumps you won't be able to land in the steep zone with your speed! rails are even more dangerous than jumps! beginn with verry low rails!
  15. i saw last year in a japanese sb magazine a japanese guy who rode a rainbowrail jumping of from the higest point and doing a onefoot jump (backflip but i'm not shure) sick if you ask me!!
  16. if you like whiskey without ice and water. then go for whiskey!! cause the price is the same! but just after riding i would go for a glass of red wine! (it should help to build up musscels!)
  17. give us more hints!! are you boarder or skier, are you in freestyle or carving, intrested in pauda or groomed slopes, how good do you ride, how much time will you spent, do you like to have party or just sitting at home.....??? as more as we know about u as better we can help!!
  18. i think in japan is snowboard gear more expensiv than in europe. the problem is just, that you spend the money you saved for the overweight charges from the air company.
  19. it's all about the boots! mainly you can say, cheap boots = more heel lift, expensiv boots = less heel lift. ok, it is possible that the cheap boot model matches better on YOUR feet... so what you can do to minimize this problem is, 1. trining as much boots as you can! 2. if you found 2 or 3 boots that match your feet, ask the guys on the shop to prepare "your binding" on a board, then let them "hold" the board, while you staing in the bindings and try to lift your heel. oh yes, a possibility for your problems could be the high back on your bindings! check if you have a

Snow Riders For Better Snow Riding in Japan flood every ski resort with email complaints...would SJG sponsor this? how blind are you guys?? just think about, how much pow each of us gets, when we duck the ropes, and how much pow we would get if there where NO ropes and everyone could "try" to ride pauda! you know, in europe thinks almost every beginner, who can make a turn without falling, that HE is an absolutely powder junkie. the reason is that everything, if save or not, is tracked, a day o
  21. yes, it really damage the base and edges of your board! i saw my friends board last week and i was shocked! on the other hand, why care about?? sooner or later you will buy anyway a new board!
