Good to hear that The Big Issue is in Japan. I bought it when I was in the UK, and do so, now it is in Adelaide. Do the vendors a favour and buy a copy. You may find that the content is pretty good, and worth whetever the cost is.

I've been to some amazing places, none of which appear in that list, and there are places I'd like to go that aren't on the list. BTW, what's wrong with places in AUS? My favourite place has to be The North West of Scotland, and I'd love to go to Tibet, but only if the Dalai Lama could go with me freely.

As an ex-smoker, I have always been against anyone that smoked. Never went out with anyone that smoked for ages, until I met teh girl of my dreams (except she smokes) Funny thing is, I hardly ever notice it on her. I don't think she draws very heavily on the cigarette, so doesn't get that much smoke. She often only smokes 1/2 a cigarette then puts it out. Sometimes love can do crazy things to you.

I enjoy cookin, but rarely use a recipe, just go through the cupboard and pull out whatever I think will go with the meat that I have. Big fan of steamed veges, and use a wok a lot to cook the meat. I do a couple of good Italian style sauces that can go over past or meat, and a wicked bolognaise style sauce. Am actually going to try and cook a traditional steak this week, cos a friend wants to learn how to do one. Been so long since I cooked "australian/english" food.

Mmmmm, love all the Gaelic accents. My ex was Irish/Australian and had a slight lilt, until she spoke to her cousin and it came out. I have the remains of a scottish accent, but it comes out if I tralk to another Scot, or if I go home. Irish, Scots, Welsh it's all good, but hter are differences once you know what to listen for.

I like a lot of LP stuff, actually bought their first album and still drive around occasionally with it in the stereo, cranked up, doing a little drive by head banging.

Depends on which ribs. I was told to allow 6 weeks for the litle ones at the bottom to heal. You should find that the pain will subside in the next couple of days, but if you knock them again soon, you WILL know about it.

Nothing serious, a few cracked ribs, 1 torn tricep, 1 "torn" thigh muscle (but actually cut by being pinched between wrist guards and femur), partially dislocated shoulder (twice on one trip). That's about that can be acredited to snow sports.

It sounds a little like regardless of the existence of a "safe zone" or not, that this might have happened. As has been said, how can you miss seeing a groomer? Though that bring to mind the question, what was the groomer doing out so late anyway? It is rare for groomers to be working during the times that lifts are open in AU.

As soon as it is long enough, stick it in a ponytail, and use product to slick the rest back. I spent ages working from a ponytails that all of 2" long to where it is now, below my shoulder blades.

I say skiing, though I'm a boarder, and peopel pass me on the left or right. I think left or right is easier that behind or in front, because that changes depending on whether the boarder is natural or goofie.
