MiJ, the Bullet is pretty much an entry level Burton board, will be pretty forgiving, but might leave you wanting a bit more if you are not still beginner / early intermediate.

4 surfboards, 1 boogie board, 1 snowboard, 1 skateboard. 4 wetsuits, snow clothing etc. Oh, and 2 gopros to record all the action.

Great stuff Mike. It is always humbling to see kids riding better than I can, whether it is in the surf or on the snow, but it is always an inspiration to see how much fun they are having, and helps me to simply enjoy being out there riding. Of course, some days it just annoys the crap out of me

Definitely go with the bindings that suit your boots, when you are mounting them on the board you may need to adjust where the bindings site so that your boot is central between the rails and you will be fine.

Sound advice sand, surviving your backcountry trip is far more important than getting a video of it.

I ordered mine direct from gopro but I haven't got it yet. In fact, it has not been sent, and looks like it won't be until the 10th. So long as it arrives by the 30th I don't mind. It seems that demand for the black edition is very high. The silver edition is in stock and will be sent straight away. One thing to note is that the cost of postage from gopro is quite high.

How long is your pole gozaimaas the one I bought extends to 1500 seemore I think this thread is about to get an 'R' rating is you guys are going to keep talking about the length of your poles (mine is also 1500, as long as you use the widest angle setting it will be fine)

I think Tubby is right on this one. The vindaloo dishes that I have had have been only slightly hotter than a rogan josh.

For those of you heading to Rusutsu - the east gondola no.1 (from the hotel to east mt) will be operating from 8.30, and east gondola no. 2 from 8.45 this year, instead of 9am, and all lifts at east mt and isola will keep turning until sunset
