  1. i'm sure that this is not a joint, as it hadn't been there until a week ago. I do have two other "cracks", which i know they are joints, on each side at the tail tip.
  2. Hi, probably I hit a rock and now there is a crack/crevice on the edge in the middle of the board( not at the nose nor the tail). But arent edges supposed to be ductile, so that even if I hit a rock, the edge should protrude out instead of cracking? sth like this http://www.highland-instinct.co.uk/forum/file.php?1,file=1236,filename=Ski_damage_005.jpg,download=1
  3. My boots(deeluxe) have BOA lacing for the foot part and Quick pull system for the shinbone part. The quick pull lace is wearing out, what can i do to reinforce it? and what if the quick-pull lace or the BOA system cable broke, then i will need to send them to the manufacturer?

  5. my feet do have arches when there isnt any pressure on them e.g. when i lift them up; but when i stand up the arches collapse. I have tried the green insoles for 15min in sb boots and I did not feel any pain nor pressure points, so i guess they do fit me?
  6. should i put the insoles in the liner and heat mold them together in an oven? *deeluxe vicious boots
  7. apart from reducing the size of the insoles, any other customization? do they help fix pronation?
  8. Same here. The difference in support that a footbed gives over the standard manufacturer's insole is significant. the green one? do you guys make any adjustments on it, e.g. making the arch shallower, to match the shape of your feet?
  9. So even for the Burton ION/driverx, SLx, Imperial sized US7 i could feel heel lift. How about the Salomon Synopse or the Deeluxe Vicious both sized US 6.5? and boots of both the brands salomon and burton could not be heat molded? and apart from Jimbocho are there big winter sports shop streets in the Tokyo area? or like big flea markets in which they sell last yr's stuff?
  10. will the liquid react with the anti-fog coating? And, there is some dust on the inner lens, how should I clean it? Wipe it with a microfiber cloth? But that means dragging the coarse dust particles on the surface of the lens hence screwing it up......
  11. For instance you get out of a cable car or a gondola, the snow in a blizzard melts on your relatively-warm outer lens and re-freezes instantaneously, leaving a layer of frozen ice crystals on it and blocks your vision. Another scenario would be on a chairlift. It is sleeting at the valley and the watery ice crystals deposit on to the outer lens. At the summit the temperature is below freezing and the sleet freezes and sticks firmly on the lens. What would you do in such occasion?
  12. Go Native, what makes you able to stay in Japan for longer than the visa period??
