  5. Not proud to be a brit then? Or just show pride in different ways?

Well you swear an allegiance, take an oath, fly/salute that flag sing the national anthem as your own etc (at least here) obviously that isn't really worth all that much to a lot of people these days

(Sarah Palin is a good example of where that sort of thing leads.) When you make this 'commitment' to Japan, what does that mean? Are you going to fight for the country? Spy for it? Personal choice of course... though I would have thought citizenship IS fitting in, officially Very interesting points of view here
  9. Don't see why not, he seems a pretty hands on kind of guy
  10. Nice vid thx Jinx. I have been keen to try and build one but never enough time... even less to try it out.
  11. 6 years in a row, how embarrassing it would be to be a New South Welsh person

Just reading some forecasts that it will weaken Sept-Oct before strengthening again early 2012 (vs USD that is).

  15. I do some crossfit... just pic workouts you like and definitely do them to your own capacity than increase as required as Indo says. That makes it really good, use only yourself as the gauge. It sucks but as my chin up are bad big time and I hate them. They do use them a bit. So MANY MANY workouts to choose from but. I like to do a 30 min run then select an very short cross fit regime (20min) and pump that out. Good time to benefit ratio. On another note... running a program (hill) on the running machine and keep knocking off the 'emergency switch' about half way through. Fully
  16. Thanks for the insight. Curiouser and curiouser... absolutely mind boggling they are upgrading the gondola but not the end location.

I like to run courses I know however, so I can break them up into sections and better pace myself, know where you get a rest etc. So a 5km run becomes say 3 x 9-10 minute sections.
  20. I am the opposite Mantas, beach running hurts too much I have run on and off over my life and hate it... finishing however is very rewarding Try and run at least a couple of times a week - 5km and occasionally do a 10k at an amble. I always try and do hills and/or fartlek (intervals). Best work out to time ratio.
