I am with you TB I believe you have to be an extreme pro for you to be able to notice any nuances between widths, lengths or rockers. I learn't to ski on Elan 175 hire ski's but i still managed to ski in head high pow and jump of 30 foot cliffs. I never landed them and spent hours looking for ski's but still did it. After working in several pubs in the UK The cellars were never air cond like in OZ. So while in the cellar normally below ground. The air temp was cooler in relation to the public bar upstairs.
