Have fun ippy! BMXing to go snowboarding - a combination made in heaven! Yeah, I saw the clouds clearing away and thought you might head up there! Sadly i was still on duty down on the beginner slopes! Was good to meet up anyway!

+1 Was actually thinking of hitting Naeba myself on Saturday, just for a change and given that, as ippy said above, the decent stuff in and around the Kagura trees is likely to have been ruined by the recent weather.

So it's the last week of March and the Tokyo sakura's already in full bloom. I have a window of opportunity to hit the slopes this Saturday, possibly for the final time before work and other commitments take over again. Anyone else heading out?

I enjoyed using my tickets at Hakuba Goryu and Tsugaike Kogen last week - trip reports to follow in the next couple of days. Thanks guys!

Good work Metabo! Here's my contribution from a mid-week trip to Tsugaike Kogen - a slab of trusty ol' British Stilton! Apologies for the cling film but it was warm out there and my cheese was suffering!
