It's another very cold morning here in Nozawa and I have more fresh to report too... since yesterday the resort is reporting 15-23cm of fresh snow across the mountain.

Back to a Monday morning after a very busy and lively weekend in Nozawa.

It's a beauty of a morning in Nozawa and by the looks of it in wider areas as well.

Good morning from a snowy Nozawa. Not heavy snow but a bit of snow, the resort reporting up to 20cm on upper slopes, 10cm mid mountain and just a bit at base.

Few cm of snow on the mountain since yesterday (up to 10cm higher up, just a bit lower down) and mixed weather conditions at 8am this morning.

Hello from Nozawa, I was in Nagano city yesterday and just made my way back to Nozawa mid-morning.... where it's snowing lightly at the moment.

More snow in Nozawa to report this morning as the complete mountain-wide refresh continues.

A good morning it is and a fine start to February. Yes, these are the kinds of days that I particularly enjoy reporting on.

It has been snowing in Nozawa and apparently still is snowing higher up on the mountain now, but for the moment it's just generally kind of cloudy here at base.

It's a cold morning and just cloudy conditions at the moment. Some forecasts say we'll see some of the sun today and I reckon they may be right.

Things have improved this morning. Colder and some fresh snow.

It's a cold start to the morning in Nozawa and still lots of clouds around but we're expecting a clear up quite quickly with the sun to be shining down on us before too long.

It hasn't been the best 24 hours in the season. Rain yesterday put a damper on things somewhat, but it is kind of back to... wet... snow this morning.

Some early morning valley cloud aside, looking up and we have some fine looking blue skies and the sun starting to work it's magic on the slopes.
