New snowfall at base 5cm
Snowfall at base this season 828cm

Good morning from a snowy Nozawa. Not heavy snow but a bit of snow, the resort reporting up to 20cm on upper slopes, 10cm mid mountain and just a bit at base. It is still snowing now but expected to stop this morning leaving us with a cloudy day and temperature hovering around freezing point down here in the village.
Tomorrow expect sun and enjoy it while you can because from Sunday onwards the next lot of snow is due to start falling and continue into next week. I would say some Nozawa-rashii snowfall might be on the cards come Monday.
Light north westerly wind this morning, not too cold this morning; limited visibility to start the day higher up in particular but that should clear up.
Going to be another busy weekend. Might see you out there.
Fresh snow to report this morning since yesterday afternoon:
Yamabiko - 15cm
Uenotaira - 20cm
Hikage - 0cm

Official snow depths (as of yesterday):

Uenotaira - 375cm
